The XXL large scale structure: exploring the impact on AGN evolution
Abstract.
In this talk I will give an update on the largest XMM-Newton survey to data,
the XXL Survey. Spanning a combined 50 sq. deg. area, the XXL has revealed
more that 400 X-ray detected clusters and more than 25 000 AGN.
Due to it's contiguous area and medium depth, we are able to explore
for the first time the cluster and field population of AGN from
a single survey. I will show preliminary results of the impact of
the large scale structure on AGN evolution and discuss future opportunities.
