6. Spacecraft anomaly
=====================
* No OEM HEPI IASW Resynch
--------------------------
Quote MOC: On 20/12/2011 (DOY354) from 09:36:20 on families G5000 (PDM1
lifetime counters) and G5001 (PDM2 lifetime counters) increased while G5002
and G5003 decreased (probably due to the slew that took place from 09:36-09:39).
Shortly afterwards, the series of events was as follows:
- at 09:38:47: G5002 and G5003 families have the value 0
G5000 and G5001 families show the value 100 (i.e., raw value = 0)
G5194 (>3 rejected events ratemeter) and G5195 (MM Coincidence rejected
events ratemeter) show the value 0
- at 09:38:55: H/L OOL on all parameters of the families G5002 and G5003
(PICsIT event count rates semimodule 1 and 2; until 09:39:11)
- at 09:39:03: G5194 and G5195 increased again
- at 09:39:11: all values are within limits again; but: the parameters of
families G5000 and G5001 still have very high values (about 33800)
- at 09:39:19: the parameters of families G5000 and G5001 are back to the
normal value (around 8)
--> the OOLs disappeared after 16sec. There was no OEM HEPI IASW Resynch
Since the picsit counters parameters are back to nominal (especially the
deadtime counters), that means that the system fixed the problem autonomously
without the need for re-synchronization.
