______________________________________________________________________ * * * ISDC News 23-SEP-2010 * * * ______________________________________________________________________ Public INTEGRAL Crab and GRB 100915B observations ================================================= INTEGRAL performed a public calibration observation of the Crab Nebula during revolutions 966 to 968. A gamma-ray burst appeared in the field of view of INTEGRAL during this observation (rev. 967) and thus the data of GRB 100915B are also public. The NRT data can be downloaded from ISDC for these revolutions with the following command (e.g. for rev. 0967): rsync -lrtv isdcarc.unige.ch::arc/FTP/arc_distr/NRT/public/scw/0967/ your_destination/scw/0967 The directory "your_destination/scw" must be created in advance. The auxiliary data can be downloaded by the command: rsync -lrtv isdcarc.unige.ch::arc/FTP/arc_distr/NRT/public/aux/ your_destination/aux In addition a public TOO observation of the Crab was performed in rev. 970. The corresponding data can also be downloaded following the same procedure as given above. Please be aware that the near real time data can be affected by a number of defects, e.g.: - inaccurate pointing information, - approximate auxiliary information, - missing auxiliary information (time correlation files). The final consolidated data will be available in the INTEGRAL Archive typically 6 weeks after the end of the observation. They can be download similarly by just replacing "NRT" by "CONS" in the commands above. ______________________________________________________________________ |
