Release of updated JEM-X calibration
====================================

Some of you might have noticed that using the JEM-X Instrument Model
(IMOD) files (v.21), there was a spurious instrumental feature at ~7
keV. The instrument team worked hard on this issue and they produced
an updated set of IMOD files to better correct the time evolution of
the JEM-X detectors and avoid instrumental features.This new version
of these IMOD files (v. 22) is now available in the Instrument
Characteristics (IC) tree and constitutes a significant improvement on
the previous versions, so we recommend that users download an updated
version of the IC files following the instructions of the
ISDC download page.

This is a good practice before starting any new INTEGRAL analysis as
the IC tree is regularly updated with contributions from the
instrument teams.
