IBAS 2.0 Client Registration Form

Before registering as an IBAS client, please note the following :

  1. Already registered IBAS (version 1.xx) clients may reregister using this form, and request the forwarding of non-GRB alerts (classes=2,3,4,...). While reregistering please make sure that the Already registered box is checked.
  2. Test alerts and ping packets are used to check the connection between the ISDC IBAS alert server and your IBAS client machine. You will find a description of the different alert types by clicking the links in the registration form below.
  3. The IP address or DNS name you provide should be static. This means that you should not give a dynamic IP address temporarily assigned to your machine by your IP provider when connecting via modem, ISDN, and/or (dynamic) ADSL. In case you machine is protected by a firewall which translates network addresses, the IP address you provide should be the "translated" one. Furthermore, make sure that the UDP packets at the port number you specify are not filtered out by your firewall.
  4. The confirmation of your registration will be sent to the e-mail address you provide below.
