The executable ip_ev_correction performs energy correction of the
events received by PICsIT in photon-by-photon mode.
Single events are corrected for each pixel separately with the use of
the pixel-dependent gain and offset factors,
and the pixel-independent channel-to-keV conversion factors
avgain and avoffset, see Section B.2 for
more details.
Multiple events are corrected for gain and offset on-board, and thus
they are simply transferred from channels to keV:
